Welcome to NewStarSeed — a sacred sanctuary dedicated to intentional products, transformative sessions, and ceremonial experiences. By visiting our website, booking with us, or entering our studio spaces, you agree to the terms below. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, harmonious, and energetically aligned environment for all.

1. Purpose Of Our Offerings

All NewStarSeed offerings — whether products, ceremonies, sound journeys, or healing sessions — are created to support personal, spiritual, and holistic well-being.

Please note:

  • We do not make claims of specific outcomes or guaranteed transformation.
  • Our facilitators are not medical professionals or licensed therapists.
  • Sessions are intended for self-discovery, inner connection, and personal insight.
  • You remain responsible for your own physical, emotional, and energetic well-being at all times.

Our intention is to hold space — not to diagnose, treat, or guarantee results.

2. Responsible Use of Products

Our products are crafted and curated for mindful, ceremonial, and spiritual use.

To keep your experience safe:

  • Herbs, oils, botanicals, and incense are for external use or ceremonial smoke only.
  • Never leave burning items unattended — treat fire as a sacred element.
  • Keep all products away from children and pets.
  • Sound healing instruments should be used consciously, especially with pacemakers, epilepsy, pregnancy, or hearing sensitivities.

By purchasing or using our offerings, you accept responsibility for their safe and appropriate use.

3. Participation in Sessions, Ceremonies & Events

Your participation in any NewStarSeed experience — including sound baths, halotherapy, mindful movement, reiki, intuitive services, private sessions, retreats, and high-risk ceremonial practices such as firewalking — is entirely voluntary.

By booking or attending, you acknowledge:

  • You have read and agreed to our Universal Waiver & Release of Liability.
  • All participants must sign the waiver before attending any session.
  • Our system automatically sends your waiver after booking, and it’s included in all Event Detail emails.
  • If you didn’t receive it, you agree to notify us before your session.
  • You are physically, mentally, and emotionally able to participate and have disclosed anything relevant.
  • You may adjust, modify, or decline any part of the session — your body and boundaries come first.
  • Sessions may include harmonious sound, soft lighting, essential oils, halotherapy, or other sensory elements.
  • Firewalking and other ceremonial activities involve inherent risk, including burns, and you choose to participate at your own discretion.

Age Requirements

  • Participants must be 13+, unless pre-approved by NewStarSeed facilitators.
  • Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian and have a co-signed waiver.

Assumption of Risk

By participating, you consciously accept all inherent physical, emotional, psychological, and environmental risks.

Right to Refuse Service

We lovingly reserve the right to decline service to anyone engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior. Refunds or credits will not be offered in these circumstances.

4. Community Sound Baths & Complimentary Offerings

From time to time, NewStarSeed may offer complimentary community sound baths or other community-based experiences as a gift to our community.

By registering for or attending any community or complimentary offering, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Community sound baths and complimentary offerings are provided at no monetary cost and hold no cash, credit, or refund value.
  • Complimentary events are subject to limited capacity and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Registration, attendance, or interest in a community sound bath does not guarantee access to future complimentary or paid events.
  • Complimentary tickets, reservations, or invitations cannot be transferred, refunded, exchanged, or applied as credit toward paid services, products, or future offerings.
  • If a complimentary or community event is rescheduled or cancelled, this does not create an obligation for NewStarSeed to provide replacement sessions, credits, tickets, or guaranteed access to future events.
  • NewStarSeed reserves the right to modify, reschedule, cancel, or add community offerings at any time based on availability, capacity, demand, or operational needs.

Community offerings are shared in the spirit of generosity and connection and are not considered paid services or contractual entitlements.

5. Emergency Care

If an emergency arises, you authorize NewStarSeed to seek appropriate care on your behalf.
You are responsible for any related costs.

6. Photography, Media & Sacred Space Privacy 

Client Photography

  • No filming or photography is permitted during sessions unless the facilitator invites it.
  • Before and after sessions, photos may be taken with the consent of all present.
  • Promotional photography is always optional — you may submit a Media Opt-Out Form at any time.

Studio Security Recording (Video + Audio)

To protect the safety and energetic integrity of our community:

  • Our studios may have security cameras recording video and audio in common areas.
  • These recordings are used only for safety, security, and operational review.
  • They are never used for marketing without explicit permission.
  • Private areas, including washrooms, are never recorded.

These measures help maintain a safe and sacred environment for everyone.

7. Refund, Cancellation & Credit Policy

We honour your time and ours, and our policies support the structure needed to maintain our offerings.

  • Events:
    Cancel 72+ hours before your session to receive a credit valid for 12 months.
    Cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows are not eligible for refund or credit.
  • Early Bird Tickets:
    Non-refundable, but eligible for credit if canceled 72+ hours prior.
  • Retreats, digital products, and sale items:
    Final sale.
  • Transfers:
    Credits may be transferred with advance notice.

Late Arrivals

To protect the flow of the experience, late arrivals may be denied entry.
Refunds or credits are not provided.

Failure to Read Emails

If you do not read or locate your automated waiver email or Event Details email, refunds and credits do not apply.

8. Use of Studio Space & Sacred Tools 

You agree to:

  • Treat all sound bowls, props, and studio equipment with care and intention.
  • Follow guidance from our facilitators.
  • Accept responsibility for any damage caused through misuse.

9. Intellectual Property 

All NewStarSeed content — including photography, designs, ceremony structures, branding, and materials — is protected.
Reproduction or distribution without permission is not allowed.

10. Liability Waiver 

By entering our studio, purchasing from us, or attending any offering, you release NewStarSeed, its owners, facilitators, employees, and contractors from liability related to:

  • Physical injuries
  • Emotional releases
  • Allergic reactions
  • Respiratory responses (including halotherapy)
  • Burns from firewalking
  • Loss or damage of personal items
  • Any other risks associated with participation

We do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or transformations.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold NewStarSeed harmless from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from:

  • Your participation
  • Your actions
  • Misuse of products
  • Violation of these terms

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Any unresolved disputes will be handled through binding arbitration in Edmonton, Alberta.

13. Force Majeure

NewStarSeed is not responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from events outside our control, such as natural disasters, emergencies, or government restrictions.

14. Amendments 

We may update or refine these Terms at any time.
Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the latest version.

15. Ongoing Waiver Consent

Your signed waiver remains valid for all future NewStarSeed experiences unless:

  • We significantly modify the waiver
  • New high-risk activities are added
  • You revoke your consent in writing

We will request a new signature only when necessary.

16. Loyalty Rewards Program (Journey Blessings)

NewStarSeed offers an optional loyalty rewards system (“Journey Blessings”) as a courtesy to our community. By participating, you agree to the following terms:

Earning Points

Clients earn 5 Blessings for every $1 spent on eligible purchases.

Points are granted on the order subtotal, excluding taxes, shipping, and discount codes.

Orders paid with discount codes, early-bird pricing, referral credits, store credit, or gift cards do not earn Blessings.
(This includes any discounted order, regardless of the discount source.)

Refunded or partially refunded orders will have Blessings removed.

NewStarSeed may offer bonus point opportunities during promotions or special events.

Redeeming Points

Blessings may be redeemed only toward NewStarSeed Sound Bath events located at any of our active studio locations.

Blessings cannot be redeemed toward:

  • retail products (including singing bowls, crystals, incense, tools, or accessories)
  • retreats
  • private sessions
  • digital products
  • halotherapy
  • horse therapy
  • gift cards

Blessings have no cash value and may not be exchanged for currency, credits, refunds, or transfers.

Referral Rewards

NewStarSeed may offer referral incentives (“Give $10, Get $10” or similar).

Referral rewards apply only when a new customer makes their first qualifying purchase using the referrer’s link.

Fraudulent referrals (self-referrals, duplicate accounts, same household, spam) will be voided at NewStarSeed’s discretion.

Blessings Adjustment & Technical Accuracy

Blessings may be corrected, revoked, or manually adjusted in cases of:

  • order errors
  • cancellations
  • misuse
  • suspected fraud
  • system issues

NewStarSeed reserves the right to determine eligibility for earning or redeeming Blessings.

Program Changes & Limitations

Blessings do not expire unless otherwise stated.

NewStarSeed may modify, pause, or discontinue the loyalty program or specific rewards at any time without prior notice.

Participation in the Journey Blessings Program is optional and provided as a goodwill benefit; it is not guaranteed.

NewStarSeed is not responsible for lost, missing, or unclaimed rewards.
